The simple way to dial in your ideal tire pressure.

Bike Tire Pressure Calculator recommends a front and rear tire pressure tailored to you, based on your weight, your bike's weight, your wheel and tire sizes, the surface you ride, and whether you run tubeless. It works fully offline — no ads, no tracking, no account.

How to use it

  1. Enter your weight and your bike's weight (switch between kg and lbs if you like).
  2. Pick your wheel size, then your tire size. If your front and rear tires differ, tap Different rear tire and pick both.
  3. Choose your riding surface — the app suggests one from your tire, and you can change it for today's ride.
  4. Turn on Tubeless if that's your setup.
  5. Tap Calculate to see your recommended front and rear pressures in both psi and bar.

Rider and bike profiles

Once you have your numbers, tap Save bike or Save rider and give it a name. From then on a Rider and a Bike picker appear at the top of the screen, and switching between the people and bikes in your household is one tap. Profiles are stored only on your device. To rename or remove one, open the picker and choose Manage.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate are the numbers?
Treat them as a well-judged starting point. Road recommendations follow widely used cycling guidance; wider tires (MTB, plus, fat) use a model tuned to stay sensible across sizes, and the surface and tubeless adjustments keep gravel and mountain-bike pressures realistic. Fine-tune a few psi to your own feel, terrain, and weather.

Which wheel sizes are covered?
Seven sizes from 16" to 29" / 700C: 16" and 20" for folding bikes (Brompton, Dahon, Tern), BMX, recumbents and kids' bikes, then 24", 26", 27.5" / 650B, 28" / 700C and 29". Small-wheel tires follow the pressure ranges printed by their manufacturers, and there's a dedicated BMX option.

Does it need an internet connection?
No. Everything is calculated on your device, and the app requests no permissions and collects no data.

Can I see pressures in bar and psi?
Yes — both are shown for the front and rear. Choosing kg or lbs sets which unit is emphasized.

My exact tire size isn't listed.
Pick the closest width — pressure changes gradually with width, so a near match is fine. If you'd like a size added, tap Send feedback in the app or email me (below); most sizes in the app came from rider requests.
